Scenes from our day:
-Waking up with super good morning hair and no jam from a sandwich to help- au naturale.
-Ava reading a "lost" book while I get her brother up.
-Making blueberry pancakes which turned into regular pancakes after James started throwing his off of his plate in protest. Mental note: no blueberries for the boy!
-Sweeping after breakfast- kids were banished from the kitchen and Ava helped by sweeping the living room whilst I did the kitchen.
-Hard boiling eggs in anticipation of the Big Coloring Fest.
The kids are down now. Ava is watching her current fave movie for her quiet time, and James is working that thumb and good part of the way to Sleepytown. Wish there was a nap in my future, but alas, there is a ton of laundry and a kitchen to clean up. I'll have to substitute a cup of tea and hope it does the trick. Hope you all are well- Happy Easter!
