Happy Second Birthday to James Wallace Thuringer!

James Wallace Thuringer celebrated the second anniversary of his birth with a pizza for dinner, presents following dinner, and an attempt at cake. I say attempt as he had absolutely no interest whatsoever. "All done!!!" repeated and some tears and running away. But he had no problem with us enjoying his cake, so we did. Just a super bummer I have no pictures of him and his cake. He enjoyed a couple of outfits, two books, and a remote control car and an art kit with a dry erase board and chalkboard that he wants to play with every day. All said, it was a moderate success. It's unbelievable how big our tiny little one is. Every day I wake up to the image of PJ holding James that Eileen took when he was days old. Now he is super independent and bold and fun and growing at lightning speed. It's crazy! So now we have a two year old. Will he be a "terrible two" child or do like most kids in my family seem to do and wait till they're three and really let us have it? Regardless, he is our little blessing and we are so thrilled that he is growing so well. If only everyone could experience a little James in their life, the world would be a better place.
