With the loveliness in the weather, we decided to treat ourselves to an outside meal Sunday rather than our usual pizza. We picked up a steak and some potatoes at Meijer, and with the craved corn on the cob missing from the produce aisle, we opted for asparagus instead. (Mmmmm! And on sale!!!) The photo was not planned but the camera was right there from the night before, so I couldn't resist. Incredible meal! PJ is the grill master for sure. The kids played outside with toys, (lawnmower, truck, chalk, golf, soccer!!!) and I threw the ball for the doggies. PJ quickly made another batch of salsa as we had run out at lunchtime, and then came out to enjoy the weather and prepare a lovely meal. The only thing missing was a bottle of chilled not too dry not too sweet white wine. Will have to make a mental note that a Trader Joes run for the Charles Shaw Sauvignon Blanc is in order SOON!
