Saturday while chasing Ava down the sidewalk, James took a spill and came back toward me to report the damage: "Booboo!" (A word I have not heard him say yet- we call the perpetual scab on his knee "boom".) Sure enough, after surveying the situation, it was clear that a cleanup and band aid was in order. Ava immediately volunteered the use of her Barbie band aids, but since James says Dora ("Dor-uh") we thought we'd go in that direction. We came inside, used some Band Aid brand clean up stuff (no ouch) and some Neosporin and put the band aid on. He was a great patient! Even stood still long enough for me to get a picture. But just long enough- that boy was ready to get back outside and start chasing his sister again!
