Cautiously Optimistic

So the sweetest boy this side of the Mississippi sat quietly and still for his echo cardiogram. At the end he said to me, "Mommy, I want to be done." The tech was just finishing up so I told him we could be done in just another minute. PJ took the morning off to be there during the test. He asked some good questions. The machine was amazing-watching his little heart pumping. All together it took about an hour. The tech was amazing. She has two little ones at home, so she knew that we were worried. She said at the beginning that if she saw anything major she would call the pediatric cardiologist right away. At the end she said that the doctor would look at it, but if it helped till they called she didn't see anything glaringly obviously wrong. So we took the boy out for some chocolate milk and a muffin as a reward. He was really so good. Now we are waiting, but not worrying too much. Thank you for your kindness and thoughts. Its hard when it's your super special tiny baby chicken. But hopefully there will be nothing to worry about. Will keep you posted.
